Do Liverpool really miss David Ngog

The ex-Liverpool man was always criticized and undermined in his time at Liverpool, with even the fans of his own club questioning his ability at times.

However when you look at his goals, there are a few important one’s such as earning his team a draw at Arsenal after turning past Thomas Vermaelen and rifling the ball into the top corner of the net past Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia, following on from his goal at Old Trafford the year before, to follow up Torres’ opener and kill off United’s hopes of a win.

The Frenchman’s interlinking play is special, although he does not score goals at a consistent level he is one of the best at bringing people around him into the game, he could be just what Suarez needs right now, not someone that will challenge him to be the clubs top scorer, but rather someone who can perform when Suarez is not firing and link Liverpool’s midfield to the striker.

In this way I do think Liverpool miss Ngog, he works consistently very hard for whatever team he played for and although his fans may not be pleased with his return of goals, his fellow players will love to play with a man who always gives it his all.

Tell me what you think, do Liverpool miss Ngog?
