Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt celebrate against Benfica 300[LNB]DIRK KUYT believes the hectic festive schedule gives Liverpool the ideal opportunity to climb the Premier League table.[LNB]The Dutchman was left frustrated when Saturday's clash with Fulham at Anfield was postponed but he's already focusing on Boxing Day's showdown at Blackpool.[LNB]That is the first of four games in 10 days for Roy Hodgson's ninth-placed side with home matches against Wolves and Bolton followed by a trip to Blackburn on January 5.[LNB]Kuyt knows a maximum 12-point haul and the table will look considerably better.[LNB] 'This period is one of the most important of the season,' Kuyt said.[LNB]'If we can produce a good run I'm sure we will be up near the top four.[LNB]'I'm sure a lot of the top teams will drop some points this month. If we could get four good results in a row, then who knows? Certainly the gap will be closer.'[LNB]The Christmas schedule places great demands on players but Kuyt isn't complaining. Having already suffered two lengthy absences this season due to shoulder and ankle injuries, he's relishing the prospect of so much action.[LNB]'December is always a special month in the Premier League and one I always look forward to,' he said.[LNB]'It's hard work with four games in 10 days but that's what you want. I love to play games and always want to play as many as I can.[LNB]'Hopefully at the beginning of the new year we can look back and say it was a great time for us and we climbed the table.'
