DIC make renewed Reds bid

Dubai Investment Capital (DIC) has made a £400million offer to buy Liverpool but has handed a midnight deadline to the club's American owners, Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
If the offer is not accepted by that time, then it is believed DIC will withdraw their bid.
The Dubai-based consortium confirmed on Tuesday that they had been in talks with the American duo for several weeks but are now keen for the matter to come to a head.
The offer will give Hicks and Gillett, who only completed their takeover of the Reds just over 12 months ago, £25million profit each.
Gillett has indicated he is ready to sell his stake in the club but has not yet accepted the offer, while Hicks has been keen to raise the capital needed to buy out his partner.
DIC chief executive Sameer Al Ansari had earlier accused Hicks of "living in dreamland".
He added: It's no secret that we've been in discussions with the current owners.
"But it's not easy because the owners are in dreamland about valuations at the moment."
