DIC confirm Reds talks

Dubai International Capital (DIC) have confirmed they remain keen to buy a stake in Liverpool and have been in talks with the club's American owners.
Tom Hicks and George Gillett completed their takeover of the club just over 12 months ago, but speculation in recent months has suggested the latter was keen to sell his stake in the Reds.
DIC, the private equity investment arm of the Dubai Government, failed in a bid to take over the club last year when the American duo had their offer accepted by the Anfield board.
Hicks denied last month that he was planning to sell his stake in the club although he did admit to talking to DIC officials about possible investment.
DIC chief executive Sameer al-Ansari said: "It's no secret that we've been in discussions with the current owners.
"It's not easy because the owners are in dreamland about valuations at the moment."
DIC are believed to be ready to table a £400million bid to buy out the Americans and secure full control of Liverpool.
