Delgado keen to knock out Reds

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Cesar Delgado is confident Lyon can beat Liverpool again to leave their UEFA Champions League dreams in tatters. Lyon look set to qualify from Group E after winning their opening three games but Delgado is also keen to knock Liverpool out of the competition. Defeat for the Reds would leave them on the brink of elimination, with second-placed Fiorentina firm favourites to beat Hungarian minnows Debrecen in Wednesday's other match. Having already overcome Rafa Benitez's men at Anfield, Delgado is determined to pick up another three points at Stade Gerland. "It won't surprise me if we beat them again," the winger told The Sun. "People thought Liverpool would be a fixture in the quarter-finals but now we make sure they are left out." InconsistentLiverpool have lost six of their last seven games in all competitions, with the one exception a magnificent 2-0 success against Manchester United. "The problem with Liverpool is they are so inconsistent, with huge differences in the levels of their performances," noted Delgado. "We have analysed them against Manchester United and against Fulham and they are like two different teams. "Nobody could doubt that we are the best team in the group. We can go a very long way."
