Extended run: Daniel Agger looking to flourish under Dalglish[LNB]Defender Daniel Agger is enjoying life at Liverpool again afteradmitting injuries and being played out of position left him low onmorale. [LNB]The Denmark international was shunted out of his normal centralposition at the start of the season with Fabio Aurelio not fully fitand Paul Konchesky not signed until transfer deadline day. [LNB]He featured at left-back in all or some of Liverpool's first sixBarclays Premier League matches before a complicated calf problemsidelined him for three months. [LNB]The 26-year-old returned to actionin the New Year's Day victory over Bolton and has started seven matchesand been used as a substitute once since. [LNB]Jamie Carragher's absence aftersurgery on a dislocated shoulder allowed Agger to slot back in tocentral defence without too much disruption and he is grateful to get arun of matches. [LNB]'My problem the last six months with me not being first choice has been the injuries,' he said. [LNB]'The first month or two when I wasinjury-free I played left-back and I definitely don't think that is myfirst priority to play out there. [LNB]'After that I got injured and was playing catch-up all the time and that was difficult. [LNB]'Now I am finally fit I am playing games and that is good for me. [LNB]'I have learned about my body nowand I have learned it is struggling from time to time so I have toenjoy the time I have on the pitch and try to do everything I can forthe team.[LNB] 'But it is a lot easier to keep fit when I am playing regularly rather than coming in and out of the side.' [LNB]With central defensive partner Martin Skrtel having the odd wobble in recent weeks, Agger's calming influence and ability to play the ball out from the back has undoubtedly helped usher in a return to a pass-and-move style of play introduced by Kenny Dalglish since he took over from Roy Hodgson a month ago. [LNB] Friends and rivals: Fernando Torres (right) will line up against Agger[LNB]Liverpool have kept clean sheets in their last three matches and Agger believes that is due to a change of attitude within the squad. [LNB]'The easiest answer is the confidence and mentality of working for each other,' said the Dane, who is likely to face former team-mate Fernando Torres in a Chelsea shirt at Stamford Bridge for the first time tomorrow. [LNB]'Kenny came in at a difficult time. It is always difficult to come in when a team is struggling, but I think we have started to play better. [LNB]'Definitely he lifted the team, definitely he lifted the team spirit, and we have to give the credit to him and Steve Clarke (brought in as coach to help Dalglish). [LNB]'We've got these wins in a row so confidence will rise and hopefully that will carry on in the next couple of games. [LNB]'There is quite a way to go and that is why we have to take one game at a time, to get three points and see where that takes us.'[LNB] I tried to convince Torres to stay at Anfield, reveals Kenny DalglishTorres kills off romance: 'Some kiss the badge, I just want to score'Torres targets debut goal against Liverpool but Chelsea's ?50m man won't celebrateTorres reveals Chelsea move was not a smash and grab affairAll the latest Liverpool FC news, features and opinion[LNB] [LNB]  Explore more:People: Jamie Carragher, Daniel Agger, Paul Konchesky, Kenny Dalglish, Roy Hodgson, Fernando Torres, Martin Skrtel, Fabio Aurelio Places: Liverpool, Denmark
