Damien Comolli's transfer dealings since he joined Liverpool as director of football have been called into question. Here Sportsmail's Sam Cunningham assesses his major acquisitions.[LNB]  MISSES Andy Carroll (from Newcastle) ?35m[LNB]After becoming the most expensive British player in history, he's failed to live up to his hefty price tag. Carroll (above) has scored only seven goals all season, none against teams in the top six and only four against top-flight sides.[LNB] Should've gone to specsavers: Not all Comolli's purchases have been successful[LNB] [LNB]Charlie Adam (Blackpool) ?9m[LNB]Sensational last season, scoring 13 from midfield as Blackpool were relegated. Has only scored twice this campaign and looked a shadow of his old self alongside better players.[LNB]Sebastian Coates (Nacional) ?7m[LNB]The 21-year-old has only played 10 times since he joined in the summer and half of those have been cup games.[LNB]Doni (Roma) Free[LNB]Played twice, sent off once. When called upon as Liverpool's back-up goalkeeper he ruled himself out of their crucial FA Cup semi-final against Everton on Saturday with a red card.[LNB] [LNB] Slow burner: Carroll's career at Anfiield is yet to fully ignite[LNB] [LNB]HITSLuis Suarez (Ajax) ?22.8m[LNB]At 25, the Uruguayan looks like he will prove great value for money after signing a five-and-a-half year deal. Suarez scored four goals in 13 games in the second half of last season and has 13 from 33 in this campaign.[LNB]Jose Enrique (Newcastle) ?6m[LNB]The left back had just had his best season at Newcastle before Liverpool poached the Spaniard for a fraction less than the Toon originally paid for him. One of the best full backs in the league.[LNB]Craig Bellamy (Man City) Free[LNB]Nine goals in 24 games and only 11 starts this season for Liverpool - not bad for a free signing.
