Dalglish talks about Gerrard's return
Steven Gerrard played the final minutes of Liverpool's Carling Cup clash at Brighton and his manager is delighted with the captain's return. "We'll manage Steven as well as we've managed everybody else and we'll have to maintain what he's done with his fantastic progress and we're just going to look forward to that continuing," said Dalglish after the 2-1 win. "We're not going to be irresponsible and throw him in and give him too many minutes, but it's fantastic to see him back. Everybody is delighted to see him back so don't lets spoil it by being irresponsible."It gives everybody a lift because he's got a fever for Liverpool Football Club. You want to see the talisman back so that's great for everybody - more especially for him. He's suffered a lot and been through a lot. "He's made a lot of sacrifices to get where he is so its great credit to him and everybody connected with him on the medical side who have got him this far this quickly.
