Dalglish just wants a win

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish admits he faces a challenge to improve the team he inherited from Roy Hodgson but what he is really hoping for is a win. Having exited the FA Cup at Manchester United on Sunday his first taste of Barclays Premier League action for 12 years ended in a 2-1 defeat at Blackpool. The Reds have now lost 10 of their 21 league games and extended their woeful away record to just two wins in almost 13 months. "It's obviously a big challenge, very seldom do you get a job where you walk in with no challenges," he said. "The encouraging sign is the attitude and desire of the players, which is quite pleasing. "The only reason we will have a problem is if they don't show commitment to the club and I think they have shown that - we just need a result. "There are a couple of things that we can sort out. If the problems lie without yourself you have a chance of solving them and we will work in our own way."
