Dalglish hails 'fantastic' Wenger

iverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has described Arsene Wenger as "fantastic" for Arsenal ahead of Saturday's clash at Emirates Stadium.[LNB] Wenger is currently under scrutiny as his bid to finally end the Gunners' trophy drought seems to be undermined by high-profile exits and a lack of prominent acquisitions.[LNB]But Dalglish - who was involved in an angry touchline exchange with Wenger during their sides' 1-1 draw at the Emirates in April - was eager to defend the Gunners chief ahead of their meeting on Saturday.[LNB]"For me, Arsene Wenger has been fantastic for the football club," he said. "When they were in a bit of trouble, he guided them through it.[LNB]"He has always been a fantastic seller of players (Emmanuel) Petit, (Marc) Overmars, (Thierry) Henry, (Patrick) Vieira, (Nicolas) Anelka. He has also got the best value for his club when they needed help financially.[LNB]"If Arsene was good for them then, when he was bringing in trophies, the only thing missing now is trophies.[LNB]"Arsenal have lost Cesc Fabregas, they look like they are losing Samir Nasri and have a couple of players suspended.[LNB]"But it will still be difficult. Whoever goes on the pitch for them will have the same principle. They will be formidable for us to play against.[LNB]"I think everybody appreciates and respects the way they play - not everyone can play that way."
