Dalglish enjoying blossoming partnership
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish can already see a successful partnership developing between strikers Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.
Both impressed in Monday`s 3-0 victory over Manchester City which was even more comfortable than the scoreline suggests.
Suarez was denied early on when his shot was tipped onto a post by goalkeeper Joe Hart but Carroll made the breakthrough everyone at Anfield had been waiting for when he scored his first two goals since joining for £35million in January.
"You can see the more Andy and Luis play together the better the understanding is," said Dalglish.
"I thought Luis played outstandingly and was unfortunate not to open the scoring when he hit the post.
"I think everyone can see their partnership is developing but the quality of the service up to them was pretty special."
