Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish was full of praise for his Liverpool players after their 2-1 win at Chelsea on Sunday.

"You never get a wonderful result without  good performance unless you're accused of being lucky," he said after the game. "It was a fantastic performance by the players. "We played really well in the first half and got the goal. In the second half they put us under a bit more pressure than the first half, they got the equaliser and its to the boys' credit that they picked themselves up and kept going."It was a fantastic goal for Glen and I think overall not too many people could begrudge us the three points. It just shows you the ambition and intention that they have to try to push forward with the football club and that suits everybody connected with the club."I don't know where we are in the league. Right at this moment all I know is that we've put a fantastic performance on, we're delighted with the three points and more importantly our supporters are going home really happy."There's been some sad news regarding Brad Jones' little boy Luca passed away, so I hope it helps him feel a little bit better."
