Dalglish admits transfer troubles

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish remains hopeful of adding to his squad before time runs out at the end of the transfer window. Ajax coach Frank de Boer has placed a Saturday deadline to finalise a deal for forward Luis Suarez - despite the fact that both clubs are miles apart in their valuations - while the pursuit of Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam has also stumbled over the transfer fee. Having watched his side grind out a 1-0 win at home to Fulham, Dalglish admits that he would like to bring in reinforcements, especially after selling Ryan Babel to Hoffenheim, but time and money may conspire against him. "The finance is there. Everything is in place but it's difficult to get players out of other clubs at this time," said the Scot. "If we do not get anyone it is not for the want of trying."
