Liverpool striker Peter Crouch insists he is happy to stay and fight for his place at Anfield despite rumours linking him with a transfer window exit.
The England striker scored a sensational opener as the Reds crushed Bolton Wanderers 3-0 on New Year's Day.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a possible transfer to Newcastle United, but despite slipping behind Craig Bellamy and Dirk Kuyt in the pecking order, claims he is happy to remain on Merseyside.
"I have heard all the speculation and all I can say is I am happy here and love playing for the club," Crouch told the Liverpool Echo.
"It is a fantastic club, all the games are massive and I wouldn't want to leave.
"I see my future here and as long as the manager doesn't want me to go, I won't be going.
"I know the manager has got no problem with me. Everyone who knows me knows my attitude won't change.
"I've always worked hard and given my all, and that's always going to be the case."
