Ipswich and England Under 21 striker Connor Wickham has signed a new contract extension until 2014.[LNB]It is the second new deal this season for Wickham, who turned 18 recently and has been linked with a ?15 million move to Barclays Premier League duo Liverpool and Tottenham.[LNB]But Ipswich, who take on Crystal Palace this weekend know they are unlikely to keep hold of the strapping youngster for a further three years.[LNB] Bright future: Wickham (left) has scored seven league goals in 2011[LNB]Boss Paul Jewell said: 'I know this won't stop the speculation and every player has his price.[LNB]'I'm not looking to sell Connor Wickham, and I don't think Connor Wickham is looking to leave, but if someone came in with a silly offer and he wanted to go, we would have to listen to it.[LNB]'But that would be the same for any player. There's no good keeping players if they are not happy, but that doesn't mean to say we would just let anyone go out of the door just because they got the hump.[LNB]'It would have to suit us, and I think at the moment the best place for Connor Wickham is at Ipswich.[LNB]'He's done terrifically well but he is still a puppy and knows he still has a lot to learn.[LNB]'I hope he can produce the goods and get to where he wants to go with us. That would be Utopia.'[LNB][LNB]International star: Wickham (left) has forced his way into the England Under 21 side[LNB]Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has distanced himself from a summer swoop for Wickham.[LNB]He said: 'I don't see us paying the sort of money that Ipswich are talking about.[LNB]'He's not someone who'd be ready to play in the first team next season.[LNB]'He'd be better off staying for another year.'[LNB]Meanwhile, Ipswich have released midfielder Alan Quinn, 31, and strikers Pablo Counago, 31, and Kevin Lisbie, 32, who are on loan at Palace and Millwall respectively.[LNB]  Redknapp rules out ?12m summer swoop for teen sensation WickhamTottenham set to pip rivals Arsenal in race to land ?15m-rated WickhamBurnley 1 Ipswich 2: Wickham winner a catastrophe for ClaretsJewell admits facing an uphill struggle to hang on to Spurs target Wickham [LNB]  Explore more:People: Kevin Lisbie, Paul Jewell, Harry Redknapp Places: Liverpool
