Cole not going to West Ham
Joe Cole will be staying at Liverpool, despite reports linking him with a move back to his former club West Ham, according to reports. The 29-year-old midfielder has apparently had talks with manager Kenny Dalglish and insists he wants to stay and fight for his place. "There has been no firm interest in Joe and he is determined to prove he still has what it takes to play at the top level," a source told Goal.com. "He has had a good conversation with Kenny and they both agreed that he didn't perform well last season but still has the talent and desire to be a success at Liverpool."There was some talk of a season-long loan but nothing has emerged that would suit both the player and Liverpool."
