Cole impressed with owners
NESV have impressed Joe Cole. The new owners were at Melwood on Saturday to meet the players and gave them a talk outlining their future plans for the club. They certainly impressed Joe Cole. "We're happy that it's all sorted out and the club's got some direction again. I know the fans are happy," the England international said in an interview on LFC TV. "They seem genuine and they seem like they are doing it through passion. Everything seems great. "I definitely think they can help us get back up there. "The landscape of football is changing. "Clubs are going to be made to work from their revenues rather than just throwing money at it. That can only be good for the game in general, and hopefully with the solid base a club like Liverpool has got, we can put ourselves back on top."
