Manchester City have completed the signing of Aleksandar Kolarov for a fee in the region of £19m after the Lazio left-back passed his medical.[LNB] The 24-year-old Serbia international had already been granted a work permit and underwent a physical examination in Manchester today.[LNB]Kolarov will not, however, be joining the club's pre-season tour of America.[LNB]Kolarov's arrival puts Wayne Bridge's place in doubt and the England international has already been linked with a move to Liverpool, who are currently without a first-team left-back.[LNB]However, manager Roberto Mancini said the defender's imminent arrival did not mean the end of Bridge's career at Eastlands.[LNB]"I want two top-class players for each position," said the Italian. "I first saw Kolarov in his Lazio debut back in 2007. I have watched him a lot since then and so have the Manchester City scouts.[LNB]"His attacking capability is very good. He is fast and can shoot with power and accuracy.[LNB]"He also has the ability to play in numerous positions and is very good in midfield.[LNB]"This is an additional benefit to the team. He has a fantastic international career ahead of him. I am looking forward to working with him."
