Cavalieri leaves Reds for Cesena
iverpool goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri has completed his move to Serie A newcomers Cesena.[LNB] The 27-year-old Brazilian was signed by former Reds manager Rafael Benitez from Palmeiras in July 2008.[LNB]However, he was only ever considered back-up to first-choice Jose Reina and as a result made just 10 appearances for the first team.[LNB]The arrival last week of Middlesbrough's Brad Jones, who qualifies as a 'home-grown' player despite being an Australia international, signalled the end of Cavalieri's Anfield career.[LNB]Liverpool have confirmed Jones will now take over the number one shirt vacated by the Brazilian.[LNB]
