Carragher hails Agger return

Liverpool stalwart Jamie Carragher is delighted to see defensive colleague Daniel Agger back in action after a long battle back from a foot injury.
The 23-year-old Denmark international centre-half has not featured for the Reds since last September, having suffered several setbacks after seeming set to return.
However, Agger is not fighting fit and challenging for a starting spot alongside Carragher.
Carragher told the club's official website: "It's been really tough for Daniel. He was a big miss for us last season and we're delighted to have him back.
"He's a great player, but there are a lot of good players in a lot of different positions now fighting for a place now.
"We've got a big squad but we need to keep everyone fit."
However, Carragher's hopes of a fully-fit squad look to have already been shattered by new signing Philipp Degen.
The Switzerland wing-back, who joined the Reds from Borussia Dortmund this summer, suffered a groin strain during pre-season training in his homeland.
The 25-year-old may require surgery to correct the problem and if he does go under the knife, then he is almost certain to miss the start of the new season.
