Carragher warns Michael Owen he'll Kop frosty reception on Anfield return
Jamie Carragher is in little doubt what kind of reception Michael Owen will get when he turns up at Anfield next month as a Manchester United player.
Owen was a Liverpool hero after coming through the ranks, but many will view his move to Old Trafford this summer as unforgivable.
The champions don't even travel to Merseyside until October 25, but the clash is already on Carragher's mind.
'Our fans are usually brilliant with former players but he might get a cool reception,' the former England defender told the Liverpool Daily Post. 'That won't bother him though.
