Carragher expects Reds recovery

// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher remains confident he and his team-mates will soon be over their slump in form.[LNB] The Reds have suffered four defeats in all competitions for the first time since 1987 after throwing away the lead to lose 2-1 to Lyon in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.[LNB]Lyon's victory at Anfield piled pressure on the misfiring Merseyside outfit and manager Rafa Benitez, who face Manchester United on Sunday, but Carragher believes they can bounce back.[LNB]Carragher told Sky Sports 2 after the Lyon loss: "It's a massive disappointment, a bad result which leaves us a lot to do.[LNB]"We're going through a tough patch but we've been through them before, we will come through no doubt.[LNB]"We have great fight and character. We had a lot of young lads out there tonight, if we could have hung on (for a draw) it would have been a good result."[LNB]Despite a poor run, Carragher feels facing Premier League leaders and fierce North West rivals United at Anfield could be the ideal fixture.[LNB]"It's always a great game, they are a top side," he added. "That could be the game we need."[LNB]
