    Carra issues commitment warning

    20 May 2010 - 07:48:00

Long-serving defender Jamie Carragher has warned any unsettled team-mates that no one player is bigger than Liverpool.

Carragher has spoken out amid reports linking star trio Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Javier Mascherano with moves away from Anfield this summer.

Spain striker Torres and Argentina midfielder Mascherano are rumoured to be unsettled on Merseyside following the club's failure to secure Champions League football for next season.

Carragher believes anybody not 100 per cent committed to the Reds should be allowed to move on this summer.

The 32-year-old club vice captain has spoken out following manager Rafael Benitez's own pledge to see out the remaining four years on his contract.

"I want the people to come back who want to be there," he said.

"If anyone doesn't want to be here, no problem. No-one is bigger than Liverpool Football Club.

"People always talk about players leaving and saying 'this is the end of Liverpool'. No chance.

"Better players than the ones we have now have left and we have replaced them."
