Carra on the mend
Jamie Carragher is winning his fitness battle. Carragher was an injury doubt for Sunday's final game of the season at Hull after being forced off with a knock against Chelsea last weekend. However, the defender is recovering well and believes he will be fit to face the Tigers. Should Carra face Hull, it will be his 434th league appearance for the Reds, taking him to eighth in the all-time league appearances list for the club, one ahead of Alan Hansen. His appearance against Chelsea was his 629th overall, which moved him into seventh place in the overall list, one appearance ahead of Bruce Grobbelaar.
