Capello to risk wrath of Big Four by taking top squad to Ukraine
Fabio Capello is ready to risk the wrath of the leading Premier League managers by picking his strongest possible squad for England's World Cup qualifiers against Ukraine and Belarus.
With England already qualified for next summer's finals, some bosses will be hoping Capello rests players for the away game in Ukraine on October 10 and against Belarus at Wembley four days later.
But, as well as recognising his responsibility to protect the integrity of the competition Ukraine can still qualify ahead of Croatia Capello regards the games as an important part of his preparation for South Africa.
Friendlies against France, Spain and Holland exposed the need for improvement and Capello wants to take every opportunity to work with his players.
He names the squad on Sunday night.
