Cannavaro: We're Real-ly high in confidence ahead of Liverpool clash

Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro says his side are full of confidence ahead of their clash against Liverpool[LNB] Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro has admitted the Spanish champions' confidence is sky-high ahead of the visit of Liverpool[LNB]on Wednesday.[LNB]Madrid chalked up their ninth straight win at the weekend — a run that has seen them concede just two goals.[LNB]'The game comes at a very good time for us,' said the defender.[LNB]'The team are playing well and we have the Bernabeu fully behind us again. [LNB]'We know we have won nothing yet and that Liverpool will be very difficult.[LNB]'They are used to going a long way in this competition.'[LNB]Real benefit from 24 hours more rest than Liverpool, having played on Saturday. [LNB]They crushed Real Betis 6-1, all goals coming in the first half, after which coach Juande Ramos took Cannavaro, Raul and Gonzalo Higuain off. [LNB]With Barcelona losing for the first time since August against Espanyol, Real narrowed the gap on the leaders to seven points.[LNB]Cannavaro added: 'It was the perfect day for us.
