Calderwood keeps believing

A defiant Colin Calderwood is determined to end Hibernian's slump and is committed to his role as manager. Speculation has circulated in recent weeks that Calderwood was prepared to walk away from Easter Road amid a run of two wins in 14 games and none in the last nine matches. Calderwood admitted morale was "very low" following the Scottish Cup replay defeat at Irn-Bru Second Division Ayr on Tuesday night which means Hibs' sole focus is now on Clydesdale Bank Premier League survival. But Calderwood is optimistic he has the credentials required to overcome adversity and help Hibs out of their current predicament. "It's made me really more determined," said Calderwood. "I enjoy the football club and I've really enjoyed the freshness and what it's brought to me as an individual in terms of new challenges. "This is just another challenge. I want to get this right. We're a long way from being right, but it's never entered my head really."
