Broughton knighted
Martin Broughton has been knighted in the Queen's New Year Honours List. Despite having a difficult year as chairman of British Airways, the former Liverpool FC chief executive helped rescue the club from the clutches of Tom Hicks and George Gillett and secured the sale to John Henry.
