Boss praises Reina

Roy Hodgson has paid tribute to Pepe Reina. Hodgson paid tribute to his goalkeeper after Reina kept his 100th clean sheet in only 198 appearances, becoming the quickest keeper in the Reds' long history to reach that milestone. "I can only congratulate Pepe at being the fastest Liverpool 'keeper to get 100 clean sheets because he's done it in the face of some stiff competition, in particular Clemence and Grobbelaar who were two legendary goalkeepers for this club," said the boss. "It's fantastic he's got there quicker than those two and it was also nice to hear him pay tribute to the defence in front him, not just this one but defences in the past, because all goalkeepers who break records need good defences in front of them."
