Boro deny Jones exit reports
Middlesbrough have denied striking a deal with Liverpool for goalkeeper Brad Jones.[LNB] Reports suggested the Australia international was set to join Liverpool, but Boro shot down the claims.[LNB]"Boro have confirmed that they have not reached an agreement with any club for the sale of goalkeeper Brad Jones," said a statement on their website.[LNB]However, manager Gordon Strachan refused to confirm that Jones would be in the squad for the trip to face Leicester on Saturday.[LNB]"I've no idea, we'll pick a squad on Friday of available people," he said.[LNB]"The big bonus is Jason Steele did terrifically well at Chesterfield."[LNB]
