Big freeze can spur Liverpool FC on to FA Cup glory - Rafa Benitez

Rafa Benitez 300[LNB]RAFA BENITEZ today promised Liverpool will use their weekend frustration as a spur to secure their place in the FA Cup fourth round.[LNB]The Reds had to spend yesterday kicking their heels rather than tackling Tottenham at Anfield after the Premier League clash fell victim to the arctic conditions on Friday.[LNB]Though the stakes would have been high, Benitez would have preferred to take his chance against Spurs rather than waiting to face Reading on Wednesday night to give his squad an opportunity to build up their confidence.[LNB]However, he hopes the incentive of a home tie against Burnley later this month will help carry Liverpool past their Championship rivals and Benitez is looking for a vast improvement on their initial showing at the Madejski Stadium.[LNB]'It was a shame that we couldn't play yesterday,' said Benitez. 'We had to suspended one training session last week but, other than that, (the weather) was ok.[LNB]'The spirit is good, everything was ready but we couldn't play but we will try to keep that good spirit.[LNB]'We were really pleased after two wins in a row (at Christmas) and you could see the mood was very good.[LNB]'But we didn't play well at Reading. We could have won, we could have lost but still you could see the players had confidence as it was a cup game and, as you know, anything can happen. Look at Leeds.
