Benitez blames bad luck

Rafa Benitez claimed his side's dreadful away form is down to bad luck, after seeing Liverpool nick a 1-0 victory against Manchester City at Anfield. The Reds have failed to win any of their seven league games on the road this term, form in sharp contrast to six victories out of seven on their home patch. However, after Steven Gerrard's strike sealed another three points, Benitez claimed: "It is clear at home we are winning and we will play Portsmouth next. "If we win against Portsmouth we will have more confidence for our next game away against Wigan. "It is not a psychological thing, but having analysed the games I think our bad away record is down to luck. "If you see how many attempts on goal we have in every game, I think it is a question of luck."
