Rafa Benitez has been impressed with Liverpool's Hungarian quartet as the club kick off their pre-season campaign. The Reds drew 0-0 with Swiss outfit FC St Gallen on Wednesday as a squad mixed with regular first-team players and promising youngsters embark on a gruelling pre-season tour around Europe and Asia. Benitez is already using the tour as an opportunity to watch some of Liverpool's possible future stars, and he feels the club's agreement with Hungarian feeder club MTK Hungaria is beginning to pay off. MTK's youth Academy products Krisztian Nemeth, Peter Gulacsi, Zsolt Poloskei and Andras Simon are currently on Liverpool's books and are the foursome can expect to feature regularly for the first team this summer. Nemeth and Gulacsi featured in the friendly with St Gallen and Benitez expects both to have a big future at the club once they gain the necessary experience. "Krisztian Nemeth is a very good striker who needs to get more experience. Peter Gulacsi is a young goalkeeper who should have a bright future," Benitez told origo.hu. "They both have a good mentality and they are working hard during our training. Their abilities prove that on the Academy in Agard the coaches are doing a great job. Possible loan "I'm also satisfied with Andras Simon's and Zsolt Poloskei's training work." Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher featured in the game as Liverpool struggled to break down their stubborn opponents, but it was the Hungarian players who caught the eye of their boss. "They played well, it's visible that Nemeth is a quality striker although he couldn't score a goal," added Benitez. "Gulacsi was substituted only at the end of the game and it was more important for him that he made his debut in the senior team. "This is almost for sure that Gulacsi will stay with the senior squad, while Nemeth's future is affected by the other strikers of the team. "This is not impossible that we'll let him go on loan but of course we'll do it for the good of his career. "Krisztian is a real finishing striker, he has good technical abilities and can easily find the way to score but he should develop physically."
