Benitez hails Reds' mentality

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez believes his side have a 'winning mentality' following their dramatic late victory at Fulham.[LNB] The Reds returned to the top of the Premier League, overtaking Manchester United and opening a two-point lead, as Yossi Benayoun struck deep into stoppage time at Craven Cottage.[LNB]Benitez saw his side dominate in West London but it appeared they were going to be forced to settle for a stalemate as a host of chances went begging, with the framework of the Fulham goal rattled on four occasions.[LNB]However, after Israel international Benayoun grabbed the victory, the former Valencia boss - who uncharacteristically leapt into the air on the final whistle - is in a positive mood as a tense title race gathers pace. [LNB]He said: "I haven't seen myself yet but it was a very, very important goal at a crucial time.[LNB]"There was relief. You cannot say you will score in the last minute but we always play to the end.[LNB]"We have the winning mentality. It is better not to say things but to do things and the players always believe they can score in the last minute.[LNB]"Today I was really pleased. We have a lot of confidence, but as a manager you have to be calm."[LNB]
