Barcelona's Seydou Keita open to Liverpool move

Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita has opened the door to a switch to Liverpool by admitting he is flattered in the interest from the Anfield outfit.

The 31-year-old is enjoying something of a resurgence at the Camp Nou this season, starting more than half of the European Champions' league games.

And his form has alerted Liverpool, as well as rich Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala, despite the fact the Mali international has three years on his current deal, having signed an extenstion earlier in 2011.

Keita has revealed the interest shownhim is 'fantastic', but also confessed to be being more than happy withhis situaton in Spain.

He said: 'Liverpool is a great club, it is fantastic to hear that they are interested in me, but you know howI feel about Barcelona.

'However we are in football and nothing is an absolute, so let's wait until the end of the season.

'I want to play more games than last season, playing regularly in a winning team is very good for the player,but the Premier League is very attractive and exicting for any player.

He added to Sky Sports: 'My contract runs untill 2014, at the end of the season we will see.'
