Barca target Mascherano will take his time before committing to Liverpool

Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano has told the club he wants to know their long-term vision before putting pen-to-paper on a new contract. [LNB]No deal: Mascherano will hold talks with Liverpool next week[LNB]Manager Rafa Benitez is desperate to keep hold of the Argentina international and is prepared to offer him a £100,000 a week deal to stave off the interest of Spanish giants Barcelona.
