Aurelio's freak injury wins Dossena reprieve at Liverpool
Liverpool are hanging on to Italy left back Andrea Dossena despite interest from Juventus because Fabio Aurelio has suffered a freak kneeinjury.
Manager Rafa Benitez fears the Brazilian will not be ready for the start of the season after apparently injuring his leg playing in the garden.
Dossena was set to leave less than a year after arriving from Udinese for £7m but his agent Roberto La Florio said: 'At this time I don't know if he will join Juventus.'
England full-back Glen Johnson completed his £17m move from Portsmouth yesterday when he signed a four-year contract.
