Liverpool defender Fabio Aurelio has declared himself fit and ready to make his first appearance of the season against Burnley on Saturday.
The Brazilian full-back has been out of action since a summer knee cartilage operation after picking up an injury while playing beach football on holiday.
Aurelio is now hoping to impress Reds boss Rafael Benitez during a practice game on Thursday.
He explained: "I am feeling good and working hard to try and get back into the squad for Saturday.
"The international break came at a good time for me because I have been able to work hard and not miss too many more games.
"I'm playing in a practice game on Thursday and I hope to prove my fitness and be involved against Burnley.
"I have been training for three weeks now and I can't wait to get back."
