Aquilani returns to Anfield
Alberto Aquilani is back at Liverpool after Juventus turned down the option to sign the Italian midfielder after a successful season-long loan. The 26-year old is now being linked with a possible move to AC Milan in the Italian press, but his agent was quick to dismiss the speculation. “I can say that I am not aware of any interest from AC Milan,” said Franco Zavaglia. “They are just rumours and we have had no contact with Milan. Juve have asked us for a few days to reflect and we are looking at options. “We will see what happens, but whatever happens, Alberto is not left in the middle of the road as he still has three years left of his contract with Liverpool.”
