Fabio Capello's warning to Andy Carroll to steer clear of alcohol has seemingly fallen on deaf ears. [LNB]The Liverpool star, who scored his first international goal in England's 1-1 draw with Ghana in March, was pictured apparently enjoying a pint of lager in Madrid on Wednesday.[LNB] All smiles: Cahill, Reina and Carroll enjoy the Madrid sunshine ahead of the Champions League semi-final[LNB]Carroll was in the Spanish capital to watch the semi-final clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona. And the British record signing was joined by team-mates Pepe Reina, Glen Johnson, and Raul Meireles. [LNB]Everton star Tim Cahill was also surprisingly invited along for the jolly, despite the fierce rivalry between the two teams. [LNB] I'll get this round in: Carroll appears to enjoy a beer in the Spanish capital with team-mate Reina (right) [LNB]Capello issued a reminder to Carroll about his off-the-field conduct ahead of England's game against Ghana in March.[LNB]'His behaviour now is really, really important. Really important. He needs tobe careful at every moment,' the Italian said. 'I spoke with him privately. He needs to improve, to drink less.'[LNB] Picture perfect: Cahill (left) and Carroll record a man dancing on their phones [LNB]But the 22-year-old, who signed for Liverpool in a record ?35million deal on January deadline day, didn't seem concerned about Capello's worries as he enjoyed a day in the Madrid sun. [LNB] Carroll is set for an emotional reunion against his boyhood club, as Liverpool host Newcastle on Sunday. And the England striker has expressed his desire to play against the Toon despite battling with a knee injury he sustained in the draw with Arsenal at the Emirates earlier this month. [LNB] Rivalry? What rivalry: Cahill takes a stroll through the Spanish capital with Carroll and his Liverpool team-mates Johnson and Meireles[LNB]Although the pictures are unlikely to please Reds boss Kenny Dalglish, who already claimed that sentiment won't play a part in deciding whether he'll feature against Newcastle.[LNB] 'We will take an educated opinion on whether he is fit or not,' the Liverpool manager said.[LNB]'It's only Thursday and there's a few days to go yet. 'I don't think nature knows it is Newcastle so if he's not fit, he's not fit. [LNB] Down and out: The Liverpool striker faces a race against time to face Newcastle after injuring his knee at Arsenal [LNB] 'If he is not fit then it will be a disappointment for Andy but he's here for five years and I'm sure he'll get the chance to play Newcastle more than just this Sunday coming up.[LNB] 'His future comes long before a game against Newcastle.'
