Andrea Dossena convinced Liverpool can end losing run at Manchester United

Liverpool left-back Andrea Dossena is confident his struggling team will turn things around after a losing four successive matches.
The Reds lost 2-1 against Lyon in Tuesday's Champions League match at Anfield to complicate their hopes of advancing from Group E.
The outcome was Liverpool's fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions and has left coach Rafa Benitez under pressure.
'I believe we can play catch-up,' said Dossena in an interview to Tuttonapoli.it. 'We have not won in the last four games and we face difficult games against Manchester United and at Lyon. But we hope to recover (injured players) Fernando Torres, Albert Riera and Steven Gerrard, key players in this team.'
Dossena has had the difficult task of watching his team's performances from the stands.
The Italy international sustained a groin injury in Liverpool's Carling Cup victory at Leeds last month and is eager to return to playing.
'Initially I was supposed to be out of action for a week,' said Dossena. 'But then the injury reappeared. I have now been sidelined for a month and the recovery is going well. I expect to be available in the coming weeks.'
Dossena, who joined Liverpool in 2008 from Udinese, had been strongly linked with a return to Serie A this summer with Napoli among the clubs keen to acquire his services.
However, the 28-year-old is happy to have remained at Anfield and wants to make a name for himself in the Premier League.
'I am happy to be a Liverpool player,' he said. 'I have a lot of will to prove that I can have a say in England.
'I accept that there is a lot of competition in my role and I will wait for my turn to play. I have the advantage of playing in an important club that has several players available for each role.
'Benitez appreciates my professionalism and knows my potential and I respect his decisions.
'If in the future I do not enter in the plans of the coach, only then would I evaluate other destinations, including that of Napoli.'
Liverpool go into Sunday's home match against Manchester United, in eighth position in the Premier League standings, seven points behind Sir Alex Ferguson's side.
