Liverpool Ladies and Notts County Ladies contested a largely uneventful goalless FA Women's Super League 1 draw at Select Stadium on Saturday.
The closest either side came to a goal was in the opening stages, when the hosts survived a goalmouth scramble before the ball was cleared via a post.
Gemma Bonner and Caroline Weir should have done better with headers for Liverpool, who move up to fourth in the table ahead of Sunday's matches, while Laura Coombs saw a shot well saved by goalkeeper Megan Walsh.
Ellen White sent a shot wide for Notts, who have found goals hard to come by so far this season, and they stay in sixth place.
