Agent - No new Agger deal

Daniel Agger's agent has denied reports that the Liverpool defender has signed a new contract at Anfield.[LNB] Reports on Saturday claimed that the Denmark international had committed his future to the club by agreeing a new £70,000-a-week deal.[LNB]Agger's current contract expires next year and he has been waiting for the title contenders to discuss an extension.[LNB]However, the 24-year-old's representative Per Steffensen insists the centre-half has yet to resolve his future on Merseyside.[LNB]"It is simply not correct," Steffensen told TV2 Sporten in reference to the latest rumours.[LNB]"There has not been any deal signed with Liverpool.[LNB]"Apart from that, I have no comments regarding Daniel's situation."[LNB]Since joining the Reds from Brondby just over three years ago, Agger has made over 70 appearances for Rafa Benitez's side.[LNB]
