After two goals in two key games Dossena ready to discuss his Liverpool future

Andrea Dossena, who scored Liverpool's last goal in their 4-1 victory over Manchester United, plans to discuss his future with manager Rafa Benitez. The left-back has failed to established himself in the first-team since his £7million move from Udinese last summer. But the Italy international's profile has been raised following his lobbed goal at Old Trafford plus one earlier in the week against Real Madrid. He said: 'After a difficult start, now I am doing well here but I will discuss my future with manager Rafael Benitez and with the club. Then we'll see. 'I have a three year contract and I'm fine. Of course, I think about my own country, you can never say never. 'My goals in Madrid and Manchester are just rewards for the sacrifices I made during a difficult first season. It has not been easy to get into this team. However, I always trained hard, even in difficult times.'
