Chrlie Adam says that Liverpool worked hard and deserved their win at Chelsea and dedicated the victory to Liverpool keeper Brad Jones who has just lost his son to leukemia.

"Hard work, good shape and it was difficult because they are a good team and have top players in their side," he said after the game. "We knew it was difficult, but we've got good players ourselves and I thought today we were terrific.

"It's a good way to bounce back after a difficult couple of weeks because the result at home to Swansea was hard to take, but you've got to come to places like tis if you want to do well."This is a scalp, but we are two big clubs chasing each other. We're in a good position, we could have been better with results, but we'll take that."I'd like to dedicate it to Brad Jones who has obviously had a difficult week, losing his son, so that's for you big man. We're thinking of him."
