Striker Fernando Torres claims he remains totally committed to Liverpool despite being linked with a move away from Anfield.
Torres, 24, was reported to be wanted by Chelsea, Manchester City and also former club Atletico Madrid during the summer transfer window.
The Spain striker enjoyed a successful first season in England after netting 33 goals in all competitions last season, but claims he remains completely focused on helping the Reds win silverware.
"I have no plans to go anywhere, not back to Spain, not to Italy, not to another English club," he claimed.
"I read a lot of things last summer, but I was at the European Championships and I did not want any distractions.
"(Liverpool) was the perfect opportunity for me.
"Spanish team-mates, a Spanish manager who believed in me and a great captain who is also one of the best players in the world.
"Liverpool have every ingredient for me to develop as a player."
Speaking about reported interest from Chelsea, Torres added: "I don't know if they spoke with the club or with my agent.
"But in any case even if there was something in it nothing was ever going to make me abandon Liverpool."
