188BET PREVIEW OF LIVERPOOL AWAY TO MAN UNITED

19 March 2010 19:19
It has been a good week so far with Liverpool comfortably landing our suggested bet on winning by at least two goals against Portsmouth at odds of 1.88 (8/15) and then qualifying for the quarter finals of the Europa League at odds of 1.91 (10/11) on Thursday night.

Those games have been great preparation for Sunday's trip to Old Trafford as the Reds bid for a fourth successive win against Man United.

Our best bet on the game is for them to do just that at odds of 5.50 (11/2). A year and a week ago Liverpool came to Old Trafford, went 1-0 down to a Ronaldo penalty and bounced back to win 4-1. The In-Play odds on that occasion touched 13.0 (12/1) before Fernando Torres brought the sides level eight minutes later.

Torres also opened the scoring at Anfield in October when Liverpool won 2-0 and with four goals already this week, he can be backed to do likewise on Sunday at odds of 6.0 (5/1).

United have won their last seven Premier League games at home scoring 26 and conceding none which is the principal reason why Liverpool are at such long odds to win. Recent history between the sides says however that the odds should be shorter so we will take advantage.

If you can't make it to Old Trafford it is worth watching in the In-Play markets. We spoke about last seasons away win but it was the same story at Anfield where Carlos Tevez scored first for United before the Reds bounced back to win 2-1 having drifted to 6.0 (5/1) on that occasion.

188BET is the official betting partner of Liverpool FC. We offer a full range of pre-match bets but it is In Play where 188BET really comes to life. We are In Play specialists, providing betting over the full 90 minutes of more than 3,000 football games every month.

In Play adds a whole new level of excitement to watching a game. The odds are updated in real time and produce great opportunities if you can strike at the right moment. When Liverpool beat Man United in October the opening odds on a Liverpool victory were 2.50 (6/4). After one hour these had drifted as big as 3.95 (nearly 3/1) before we went on to score twice and win the game.
