Lincoln City are anxiously awaiting the outcome of a scan on striker Simon Yeo's knee problem to determine how long he might be ruled out of action for.
The Imps hitman was withdrawn from Saturday's 2-1 derby defeat against Boston United at York Street on a stretcher following a tackle from behind by Pilgrims defender Gary Silk.
He was taken to the town's Pilgrim Hospital for treatment and is set to visit a specialist on Monday with a view to undergoing a scan on the problem.
Once the results of that are made known then physio Keith Oakes will have a clearer idea on how long Yeo could be missing for.
Any prolonged absence would be a huge blow for boss Keith Alexander as his side are just one place and three points off a play-off position going into the final nine games of the campaign.
