Sutton handed FA charge

Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton has been given a charge of improper conduct by the Football Association following a touchline incident during their clash against Cheltenham Town at the weekend. Referee Graham Salisbury sent Sutton to the stand as well as assistant manager Ian Pearce and Cheltenham substitute Barry Richardson during the fracas. A melee ensued following Aaron Brown's bad challenge on visitors' Theo Lewis, which saw the Imps full-back dismissed. Brown has received a three-match ban and will miss Saturday's crunch derby clash against Grimsby Town, the League Two trip to Rotherham United on Tuesday and the FA Cup second round tie against Northwich Victoria.
