Lincoln City boss John Schofield has been named as the League Two Manager of the Month for October.

Schofield guided the Red Imps to four league wins out of four during October, with City scoring 15 goals in the process.

Chairman of the awards panel, Chris Kamara, said: "John Schofield has enjoyed a terrific start to life as Lincoln manager.

"His side have been absolutely flying over the past few weeks, scoring 15 goals and conceding just one in October.

"On this form the Imps look like being the team to beat in League Two this season."
